For the past two years, Rafat has operated a grocery store (pictured), where he sells different types of groceries. He explains that it has been a profitable project, but that he needs more financial support to cover the costs.
As a result, Rafat is requesting a loan in the amount of $1,500 from FATEN to help him cover the costs of purchasing additional goods often requested by his customers such as rice, sugar, milk and canned foods. With the loan proceeds, Rafat expects to be able to increase sales and in turn increase his income, which will improve his living conditions.
