A villager living in a rural village of Kandal Stoeng district located in Kandal province in Cambodia, Mach is a 48-year-old married woman with two children. Mach and her husband earn their living by farming rice, the business in which they have been involving for more than 25 years, earning around 7USD per day. Mach has been with VisionFund (Kiva's partner) for six loan cycles already, with which she succeeded in securing food needs for her family. Now she is in need of money to purchase a motorbike for her children. Thus, she is requesting a USD 800 loan. After receiving this loan and using it as she plans, she would be very happy to be able to help make her children's transportation from home to workplace much easier.
