Rima is a 39 year old Lebanese married woman. She lives with her husband and their three children who are all in school. Both Rima and her husband collaborate together in order to pay their family expenses and their children’s educational fees. Rima has been working independently as a babysitter since 2005.
She visits her customers at home and also welcomes some of them at her place. Her husband has been working in a local company since 1990. Today, she’s asking for a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase some nursery products related to her business. This Kiva loan will facilitate her work and allow her attract additional customers. In the future, she plans to open her own nursery.
