Chamnan, aged 29, resides in Battambang province and is the mother of one son. She has overcome her daily hardships through rice farming and working as a teacher in a local public school. Her husband uses his free time to earn additional income by raising fish. Chamnan has joined VisionFund twice, including this cycle. After successfully repaying her previous loan in full, she feels confident that she can continue to improve her living conditions. She is applying for a new loan in amount of 500 U.S. dollars. She will use this loan to buy rice seed and gasoline for pumping water for her rice field. She greatly hopes that she can upgrade her living conditions with the larger income she expects to receive from her current business.
