Yovani, age 31, is married and has three children. He lives in a village in the Unión municipality in Lempira. He has been working in agriculture since he was very young and worked with his parents.

Twelve years ago he started his own corn and bean crops. He sells this production at the local market in the area. This is his source of family income.

He has received two loans from ODEF in order to provide maintenance to his crops. He is now requesting his third loan for 10,000 lempiras. He will buy natural and chemical fertilizer, and he will pay for the labor to help with his bean and corn crops. He will do this in order to get better harvests and to improve his income. The effort he makes is so that he can improve his standard of living.

Yovani, tiene 31 años de edad, casado, tiene 3 hijos y vive en una aldea del municipio de la Unión Lempira. Yovani, ha realizado actividades agrícolas desde muy joven junto con sus padres. Hace 12 años que comenzó a realizar sus propios cultivos de maíz y frijoles. Esta producción la vende en el mercado local de la zona siendo su fuente de ingresos familiar. El ha obtenido dos préstamos en ODEF para darle mantenimiento a sus cultivos. Ahora solicito un tercer préstamo por 10,000 Lempiras para comprar, fertilizante,abono y pago de mano de obra para asistencia al cultivo de frijol y de maíz, con el fin de obtener mejores cosechas y mejorar sus ingresos ya que su esfuerzo es para mejorar su nivel de vida.
