Moustapha
Moustapha is 58 years old, married and the father of four. He lives with his wife and children in a polygamous family in Bougouni.

After attending Koranic School, he tried several business ideas, but without success. After serious reflection, he decided to learn the cattle trade from his uncle. Thanks to modest business funds from a brother, he was able to set up his own business in the same area as many others of his own ethnicity - buying and selling animals, mainly cattle.

With more than 15 years experience, he knows the business well and is much appreciated and sought-after.

He has fully repaid seven previous loans and this is his eighth. It will be used to buy 10 head of cattle. Moustapha buys stock in Bougouni and the surrounding area. He sells his stock at the cattle market in Bougouni. His clients are mainly butchers and traders from Bamako.

With this loan, Moustapha is hoping to make 150 000 CFA francs per month, which will help him meet family expenses and repay the loan.

Monsieur Moustapha est un homme marié de 58 ans et père de 4 enfants. Il vit avec sa femme et ses enfants dans une famille polygame à Bougouni.
Après l’école coranique, il tenta plusieurs activités mais sans succès. C’est ainsi qu’après mure réflexion, il décide d’apprendre auprès de son oncle les activités d’achat et de vente de boeufs. Après avoir eu un petit fonds de commerce à travers un frère, il décide de s’installer à son propre compte dans la même activité que beaucoup des membres de son ethnie.à savoir l’achat vente d’animaux notamment de boeufs.
Avec une expériences de plus de 15 ans, il maîtrise son activité dans laquelle il est très sollicité et apprécié.
Après avoir correctement remboursé les sept précédents prêt il est à son huitième prêt qui sera utilisé pour acheter 10 boeufs. Il s’approvisionne à Bougouni et environs. La vente se fait au marché à bétail de Bougouni. Ses clients sont composés surtout des bouchers et des commerçants en provenance de Bamako.
Avec ce prêt, il compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 150.000 FCFA qui servira en subvenir aux dépenses de la famille et rembourser le prêt.
