Po is 53 years old. She is widowed and resides with her five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Three of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $10 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Po is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike, for her son to run a taxi service. This purchase will enable him to generate more income to financially support the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and help her youngest child earn higher education. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
