Rosalie is 31 years old, married and living in Malaubang, Ozamis City, with her three children. To earn a living, she makes and cooks food for sale, and she's earning 5,000 a month. With the desire to improve her income, she asks for a loan of 7,000 PHP from GDMPC, in order to purchase the raw ingredients needed to make prepared foods for sale. She has been a member of GDMPC since 2009. In God’s time, she hopes to expand her business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
