Felix works hard every day to get ahead. He works in a company as operator for six months, and with the fruits of his work he can support the expenses of his home. He thinks he is doing well in his job because he is very responsible and above all, because he really wants to get ahead.
Felix is very grateful with Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they provided he will be able to make improvements in his house such as the threading of walls and the improvement of the floor, which is ground. Doing so, he will be able to provide a better quality of life and to keep fighting every day to realize his biggest dream: "to finish building his house with good materials".

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
