Nestora is a 55 year-old married woman from Panglao, Bohol. She raises hogs. Aside from hog raising, she is engaged in a fish vending business. She sells fish in her community. She has been in both businesses for ten years. She requested a loan of PHP4,000 to purchase additional piglets, feeds and fish net. Her husband is a fisherman helps her sustain the family's source of food. Nestora would like to expand her business to invest in other business ventures to support her family for a sustainable livelihood in the coming future.
