Germana is a 50-year-old married woman from Antequera, Bohol. She has two children, ages 25 and 23. She is engaged in buying and selling bermuda grass, a medium- to fine-textured warm-season turf grass that has has excellent heat, drought, and salt tolerance but does not do well in shade.
Aside from this business, she raises hogs. She earns 5,000 PHP a month from both business. She requested a loan of 8,000 PHP for additional capital to buy more bermuda grass, piglets and feed. Germana would like to augment her business to improve her livelihood.
