Sambo is 53 years old. She is married with four children, and lives with her family in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been in the agricultural business for more than twenty years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. All of her children are employed. They earn about $13 daily. One of her children is a mechanic who works in a garage.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Sambo is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase automobile repair tools to run a garage. The money will help her start this additional business and generate more income for her family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new house.
