Sofia is 30 years old and lives with her life companion, Mwadime, and her two children in her own house. She owns a store where she sells basic needs products including basic grains, eggs, bread, milk, soap and other items.
She has had this business for two years and has a lot of sales experience that allows her to obtain greater earnings. The store is located in her home in an area in which people pass by frequently. She already has many regular customers.
Sofia is known for her happiness and friendliness. She is a woman who is very dedicated to her work, is entrepreneurial and has many goals for the future. Every day she works hard to have a more prosperous future. She does not surrender until she achieves this.
Currently, she is asking for a loan that will allow her to buy basic grains, instant products, snacks, drinks, soaps, etc.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
