Teodoro, 48, lives in the community of Cauta, Mizque Province in Cochabamba Department. He has four dependent children. His wife is Flora, 34, who helps him with the agricultural work caring for the cattle and the family.
Due to the severe cold registered in the zone between 15 July and 25 July this year, Teodoro has lost a great portion of his pea and potato crops which has led to a drop in income from sale of said products. Because of this, economic stability has become unbalanced which has directly affected his ability to buy supplies needed for production and for family consumption. He also plans to buy two oxen.
To remedy the above situation, he’s called on a loan hoping to improve production working with animal traction he needs strong oxen for that will also guarantee the planting work and other farm chores.
