Alan
Alan, 19, is a young man that lives in the city of Nazca together with his wife and their two small children. She loves them and they are his main reason to live. He is a kind person, hard-working and enthusiastic. Both him and his wife work hard in order to get ahead in life with their family.

Unfortunately, because of the lack of economic resources and because he had to work in order to be able to pay for the expenses at home, Alan was not able to study architecture, which was his dream. He would have really liked to.

In his free time, he likes to watch educational programs on the TV and sometimes, his wife spoils him by cooking a delicious “chaufa” rice for him.

Alan works in the construction sector, with hard work and dedication. He is a general contractor and he starts working early in the morning. He works for approximately twelve hours and he believes that he gets good results because he is committed and has a strong will to succeed.

Alan appreciates the help given by Kiva lenders, because he will be able to make some home improvements, like whitewashing, painting and installing the floor. In this way, Alan will have a better house, which in turn will be safer and will improve his and his family’s well-being. Alan will continue to work to make his dream come true: to provide his little ones with a better quality of life.
