Leri is from Telavi district of Kakheti region. He is 44 years old and lives with his wife, his mother and two children. Leri has a truck and takes wood from the forest. The wood is sold in his local village and nearby villages. The family is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, they grow peaches on family-owned agricultural land.
The weather conditions were unfavorable this year and Leri lost his peach harvest due to a natural disaster. With the requested loan, Leri will purchase fertilizers and chemicals to treat his plants. This investment will increase the quality of the harvested fruit and their potential price as well, raising the family's income. Leri plans to use the increase in income to renovate his house in order to improve the family's living conditions.
