Louise is a 45-year-old lady, unmarried, and the mother of two children, aged 19 and 21, who both go to school. Louise has been running a business selling water and ice at a market in town for five years already. In concrete terms, she purchases potable water and converts some into ice and refrigerates the rest in plastic bottles and pouches that she sells retail. She would like to use this loan to purchase bottles and plastic wrapping materials, which she uses for her products. She thus plans to do better in meeting the needs of her children with the revenues generated.
