Mwanasha is 33 years old, married, and a mother of five children. She resides in the District of Kwale in the town of Tiribe.
She saw the need of having a vegetable stall in her neighborhood. This is why she wants to open one.
In order to obtain operating capital, she decided to request a loan in the amount of 10,000 KES for a start. The money will be invested in the purchase of tomatoes, potatoes, kale, cabbages, etc. Her plans for the future are to make improvements to her home and to continue supporting her children who are in school.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
