Mahmoud is 27 years old, engaged to be married and lives in Lebanon. Today, he lives at home with his parents and two siblings. One sibling is attending school while the other has started his own business. Mahmoud is the family's main source of income. He has owned a cafe since 2006, and serves hubble-bubble, a traditional Lebanese tobacco. His cafe draws a wide range of clients from his village and nearby areas. Today, he is requesting a youth loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to buy tobacco and hubble-bubble equipment. In the future, he plans to take out another loan from Kiva so that he can build a special tent next to his shop where he can start preparing fast food and welcome customers who want to relax and enjoy some free time.
