There are always hard and difficult moments in life, but the desire for self-improvement always arises to cause one to seek a better future. Esther is a clear example of this. She lives with her life companion and they are highly motivated to reach their goals and not defeated by adversities that arise.
She’s a hard-working, honest woman who has good relationships in her neighborhood. She sells dried maize at the market. She’s gradually attained customers who prefer her, which is why she’d like to buy more merchandise. Unfortunately, she does not have sufficient capital to make this investment. She approached Yehu to request a loan to buy more sacks of maize to resell. She is grateful for the support she hopes to get, and she promises that she’ll repay the loan, while at the same time, she is confident that she’ll provide her family with a better quality of life.
