Rosemary, who is 45 years old, is responsible and hardworking, and has the drive to succeed in order to have a better life. She lives with her husband and children, and helps provide them with their basic needs. Rosemary has a store where she sells household goods, personal use products and other items. Her business is very stable and generates a good amount of income, but she wants to improve her earnings by purchasing large quantities of basic necessities such flour, detergents, milk, beverages, and other items to sell to her customers. This will enable her to serve more people and improve her finances. She also sells fresh water from her home, serving the people who live in her neighborhood.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
