Mwende, 37, is a married mother; she has three children and lives in the municipality of Mombasa. She's always been a merchant; she has been selling phone accessories, a business she has been into for the last five years. She sells these products from a small store where she rents.
She's been a Yehu client for one loan counting this second one for 50,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES) she will use to buy more phone accessories. Her goal is to increase her clientele.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
