The entrepreneurial bank ALEGRIA - 26 is comprised of eight members,of whom six are women and two are men. The bank's president, Lourdes, is 30 years old and has one small child. She works as a retailer, offering a variety of automotive products such as air fresheners and covers. She sells her products from a roadside station to drivers who stop to refuel, and she already has a number of customers. Lourdes is a long-standing client and this is her third loan with this instituion. Lourdes will use the funds to purchase her automotive products at wholesale prices. One of the challenges she faces in this business is the demand for the latest products, but she will use this loan to better meet her customers' needs by purchasing a variety of items. Lourdes is happy and grateful to the institution for the assistance it has provided in authorizing this loan.
