Samuel is a 36-year-old, married man with four children. He and his family live in Kasese, Uganda. He sells clothes in different markets and also has a transportation business so he can earn additional income.
Since his business is viewed as a luxury more than a necessity in his community, Samuel faces the business challenge of seasonality. Most customers tend to buy his items during festive seasons and summer holidays only. However, he is determined to change his future and that of his family by educating his children and diversifying his business to include agriculture.
Samuel is requesting a loan to buy clothes to sell ahead of the Christmas season.
