El deseo de superarse es uno de los sueños mas importantes de una joven mujer que vive junto a su grupo familiar, ella se dedica a la venta de tortillas, ya tiene tiempo con el negocio y eso le ha regalado valiosa experiencia en las ventas que le permite obtener las mejores ganancias, comercia desde su vivienda y es muy conocida por las personas de la localidad se ha hecho de mucha clientela que la prefiere por la calidad del producto, los buenos precios y sobre todo por el servicio excelente; es una mujer luchadora, dedicada a su labor todos los días se esfuerza por conseguir un futuro mejor con nuevos caminos y alejada de la violencia social de la que es victima la localidad en que reside, día a día se esmera al máximo pues esta feliz con su trabajo y no quiere decepcionar a su familia, en las ultimas semanas aumento la demanda del producto y necesita realizar una nueva inversión por eso solicita un crédito que le permita comprar maíz por mayor, leña, etc. La joven esta entusiasmada y agradecida anticipadamente con el apoyo, tiene buenas referencias de pago y es muy responsable, asegura que podrá cancelar la deuda, y a la vez tiene la confianza que podrá llevar a su pequeño hogar seguridad económica.

This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   


Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
