Rehema is 35 years old. She is married and lives with her husband and her four children in a rural village in Tiribe, Kenya. For two years Rehema has worked selling fresh water.
Currently she has applied for a loan in the amount of 30,000 KES, which she will use to repair broken water pipes that cause leakage. She hopes that by doing so she will increase her sales and her income, which she intends to use for improving her quality of life.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
