Vigilance, 34 years old, is a single mother who has one 9-year-old child.
Her economic activity is the preparation and sale of food, and she has had this business for one year. It has been the livelihood for her and her child -- the way she gets ahead as a single mother.
The business is located in her home. The sales are made by cash and on credit to neighbors and people who work and walk in the town center. This point of sale is very helpful to obtain better profits.
She wants the financing to invest in working capital and to buy products for the preparation of her foods such as rice, beans, oil, condiments, vegetables, and beef.
She appreciates the help provided by Kiva lenders to people with limited resources in poor countries such as Kenya, so they can have decent means to work.
