Miguel Angel
Miguel is a married man whose wife is a teacher in a school in the city. He has a three-year-old son. Miguel has been a taxi driver for over 2 years, working in and around Ica and also offering his services to tourists in the city's hotels.

The challenge he faces is that he is in the taxi all day, and sometimes until the early hours of the morning, in order to earn a little more money to cater for his family's well-being. Miguel is very grateful to Kiva lenders for his loan, as this is the second time that he has received their support. The loan will enable him to improve his grocery business by cementing over the walls and buying stock, which will allow him to improve his income and strive to realise his greatest dream: "To finish building his house and buy another vehicle so as to improve his family's quality of life".
