Teofista is 58 years old and married with 9 children. She lives in Dalingap, Clarin, Misamis Occidental. To earn a living, she owns and operates a business venture, selling a variety of used clothing (ukay-ukay). She has been in this business for 11 years. Doing this type of business, she has a return in the amount of about Php 8,400 a month.
In 2011, she joined GDMPC. She is requesting a loan of Php 10,000 to purchase new items to expand her product offerings. In the future she plans to save money for her old age.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
