The demand for his products has increased in recent weeks and he needs to make a new investment; for this reason, he is requesting a loan from Integral, which will allow him to to buy flour, sugar, dulce (a type of sugarloaf), milk, yeast, trays, etc. The young man has good credit references and is very responsible. He says he will be able to settle the debt, and at the same time, has the hope that it will bring economic security to his home.

El deseo de superarse es uno de los sueños mas importantes de un joven que vive junto a su grupo familiar, el posee una panadería donde vende toda clase de pan dulce y salado quesadillas, pastelitos, cachitos, pan francés y otros, ya tiene algún tiempo con el negocio y eso le ha regalado valiosa experiencia en las ventas que le permite obtener las mejores ganancias, la panadería es muy conocida por las personas de la localidad y ya tiene mucha clientela que lo prefieren por la calidad del producto, los buenos precios y el servicio excelente; es un hombre emprendedor, dedicado a su labor todos los días lucha por conseguir un futuro mejor con nuevos horizontes y alejado de la violencia social de la que es victima la localidad en que reside, día a día se esta esforzando al máximo pues esta feliz con su trabajo y no quiere decepcionar a su familia, en las últimas semanas aumento la demanda del producto y necesita realizar una nueva inversión por eso solicita a INTEGRAL un crédito que le permita comprar harina, azúcar, dulce, leche, levadura, bandejas, etc. El joven tiene buenas referencias de pago y es muy responsable, asegura que podrá cancelar la deuda, y a la vez tiene la esperanza que podrá llevar a su pequeño hogar seguridad económica.

This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   


Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
