Karen, 26, lives in the city of Cañete in the Imperial District with her husband and two small children, who she loves and who are her main motivation in life. She is a kind, hard-working, enthusiastic person who makes every effort, alongside her husband, to provide for the family. Unfortunately, Karen was unable to get any professional training because she has had to work to help her parents. In her free time she enjoys spending time with the family.

With much dedication and hard work, Karen has been renting garage services for four years. She has a small building that she rents to small business owners so they can park their traveling food stalls, carts and other vehicles. She also sells sweets and pancakes at her location. Every day she starts work early in the morning. She believes business is doing so well because she is kind to her customers.

Karen is very grateful to Kiva lenders, because thanks to them she can renovate her garage which is in need of paint and a new door. Karen hopes to be able to increase her presence and attract more customers this way, allowing her to keep working and make every effort to continue her education. This will allow her to get a better job, so she can giver her children a good education and quality of life.

Karen es una mujer de 26 años, vive en la ciudad de Cañete, en el distrito de Imperial con su esposo y sus 2 pequeños hijos, a quienes ama y son su principal razón en la vida, ella es una persona muy amable, trabajadora y entusiasta, que junto con su pareja dedican todos sus esfuerzos por sacar adelante a su familia; lamentablemente Karen no pudo estudiar una carrera profesional, ya que desde muy joven tuvo que trabajar para ayudar a sus padres, en sus ratos libres le gusta compartir gratos momentos con su familia.
Con mucho empeño y dedicación, desde hace 4 años Karen trabaja brindando servicios de alquiler de cochera, ella cuenta con un pequeño local, el cual alquila a pequeños comerciantes para que guarden sus carritos sangucheros, carretillas y otros;adicionalmente ella tbn vende dulces y queques en su mismo local, todos los días desde tempranas horas de la mañana inicia su labor, ella cree que le va bien por el trato amable que brinda a sus clientes.
Karen se encuentra muy agradecida con los prestatarios Kiva, ya que gracias a la ayuda brindada podrá realizar el mejoramiento de su cochera, ya que desea pintarlo y cambiar el portón de este local; de esta manera Karen espera darle mayor presencia para captar a mas clientes, así ella seguirá trabajando y esforzándose para que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda iniciar sus estudios profesionales con el deseo de poder conseguir un mejor trabajo, el cual le ayude a lograr su sueño de poder brindarles una buena educación y calidad de vida a sus pequeños.
