Pedro Antonio
Pedro lives in Fortín, an area in the North of Guayaquil. He is 45 years old, married and has two children who do not live with him because they are old enough to be on their own. He began with a dream many years ago to have his own business and he achieved it because he had learned all that he needed to know in regards to working in carpentry. A year ago, Pedro opened his own carpentry workshop where he works making furniture, beds and dresser drawers. As he has very little free time, he has not had time to hire people to help him and in the end his wife is the one who assists him. Together they leave to work every day at 8am and work until 6pm. With the loan, he will want to purchase wood, varnish, paint and tools etc. His dream is to expand his business and to be able to distribute his products to a warehouse.
