Festus is 28 years old and supports two people. He runs a livestock trading business in Barwessa division, Baringo County, and this has been his income generating business for the last five years. He gets an average monthly income of 45,000 KES (Kenyan shillings) from this business.
He has borrowed a second loan of KES 50,000 after successfully repaying his previous loan. With this loan, he intends to buy goats and sheep for resale. He anticipates getting profits which he will use to expand his business by buying more animals for resale.
Festus hopes to improve his living standards and save money to enable him to pay school fees for his siblings, as well as start another business.
