Manana is from a small village of Kareli district. She is 60 years old and lives with her large family: her husband, son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Her daughter-in-law works as a teacher at the local school and earns a monthly salary. Manana’s family runs an agricultural business. In particular, they have 3 milk cows and 2 calves. They produce cheese and sell it locally.
In addition, Manana grows broiler hens and sells them at a good price. The family owns 2 hectares of land, where they grow maize, potatoes and carrots. The harvested products are sold to local retailers. They have 30 years' experience in this field and do all the work together to improve their living conditions.
Manana requested a loan to purchase a plot of land. After buying another plot of land, she will expand her business and grow more vegetables. Thus she will receive increased income and reinvest in family agricultural activities. Manana awaits your support.
