Purity, 39, lives with her life companion and seven children in her own house. She sells home products like detergents and in addition sells herbal medicine from a small store located in her home. She sells from place to place and also from home. She’s gained much experience during the years she’s worked and has acquired a good clientele who prefer her because of the quality, good prices and excellent service. Purity is noted for her great kindness; she’s a woman who is dedicated to her work and is energetic and tenacious. She knows that even if it’s difficult, reaching her dreams after much effort will be the greatest reward.
The loan she is currently asking for will be used to buy more herbal medicines and detergents.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
