Ngeno is aged 24. He is a farmer in Litein County in Kenya, where he has been in farming for three years, producing milk and tea, which he sells locally. He has a motorbike that helps him in transporting the milk to his clients.
He is requesting a 60,000 KES (Kenyan shillings) loan from Juhudi Kilimo to purchase milk pans that will help him in distributing his milk production easily. He aspires to have ventured into dairy farming fully by building a modern dairy unit and acquiring other quality dairy cows in the near future. This will assist him to generate more income and improve his livelihood.
Lack of enough dairy feeds and diseases are some of his major challenges in dairy farming.
