Biasha is 32 years old and married to Ali. They have four children, all of whom attend school. Previously they were mobile vendors, and Biasha dedicated herself to her cereals business. With great effort they were able to open their own shop, which currently has numerous customers in the area.
Biasha attends her shop and her husband dedicates himself to construction. Both are making great efforts to get ahead and to help their children, since they want them to finish their studies and become successful people.
She is requesting the loan to buy meat, vegetables, bulk foods, and other basic products. She is grateful for this opportunity which she is receiving, since it will be of great help to her.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
