Draru is a 38-year-old businesswoman who lives in Juba. She is married and has four children between the ages of 4 and 12. All of them go to school.
Draru runs a general store and has been in business for three years. She has no employees. She heard about Finance Sudan through promotions by the officers. She is taking a loan of 2,000 sdg (Sudanese pounds) to purchase rice, sugar, onions and many other items. In addition to this business, she has no other source of income.
In five years, Draru would like to expand her business. Her major challenges include high prices in the market.
