Annet is married with seven children, all of whom go to school. Annet and her family reside in a rented house and have access to electricity and piped water. Annet has a business selling cold drinks, and she also generates additional income selling charcoal. She retails cold drinks and charcoal to a variety of customers and works six days a week. Her major business challenges include seasonality and defaulters, and her monthly expenses include school fees, feeding the family, and rent.
