Halima is 30 years old and lives with her husband and three children. She earns her living selling juice and ice cream from her home. In addition to this, she also owns a rental house that gives her a monthly income of about 15,000 KES.
Halima is an enterprising woman with a great desire to get ahead. She is always on the lookout for new ways to be successful. She is currently asking for this loan so as to renovate the rental house. She plans to buy cement and sand.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
