Gladys lives with her husband and their son. Through her hard work, she has a beauty salon business. Her hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. She learned her trade through an academy where she was trained in this line of work.
She is asking for a loan in in order to purchase products such as makeup, dyes, skin creams, hair creams, a dryer and a blow dryer. This loan will be a big help to Gladys in investing in her business and keeping it competitive.
Gladys wants to be able to increase the standard of living for her family and herself through the business, and to be able to have her own business premises, since she rents the premises where she currently operates her business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
