Lorena is a 49-year-old, married woman from Baclayon, Bohol. She has four children, ages 27, 23, 18 and 12 years old, respectively. Lorena has been in the buy and sell business for 30 years. She buys and sells firewood, copra (the dried meat of the coconut), recycled cans, empty bottles and iron scrap.
Lorena requested a loan of 15,000 PHP to purchase more firewood and copra and additional capital to buy empty bottles, recycled cans and iron scrap. In the future, Lorena would like to expand her business to invest in other ventures to support the education of her children.
