Querer ganarse un futuro mejor con su propio esfuerzo y vivir alejado de la delincuencia y pobreza es el principal propósito de éste hombre, habita junto a su grupo familiar en casa propia y se dedica a la venta de minutas en los diferentes alrededores de la localidad donde vive, tiene una valiosa experiencia en las ventas que le ayuda a generar muy buenas ganancias, es muy conocido por las personas de la comunidad y se ha hecho de mucha clientela que lo prefiere por la calidad, por los precios accesibles y por el servicio inigualable siempre a la orden de los clientes, es un hombre emprendedor, dedicado a su labor y muy decidido a luchar por sus sueños, esta trabajando duro todos los días para no decepcionar a su familia, se siente feliz y muy tranquilo con su negocio, en las ultimas semanas aumento la demanda y quiere aprovechar para invertir, pero no posee de suficiente capital que lo respalde por eso solicita a INTEGRAL un crédito que le permita comprar hielo por mayor, frutas, saborizantes y además darle mantenimiento al carrito ambulante de venta. This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   


Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
