El deseo de salir adelante pese a vivir en medio de delincuencia y violencia social es lo que ánima a este joven que convive junto a su grupo familiar en casa propia, y se dedica a trabajar en su molino, procesando todo tipo de alimentos, como maiz, frijoles, hárinas, salsas, entre otros. Tiene ya algún tiempo con el negocio y posee amplia experiencia que le ayuda a generar muy buenas ganancias, es muy conocido por las personas de la localidad y se ha hecho de mucha clientela que lo prefiere por la calidad, por los precios accesibles y por el servicio inigualable siempre a la orden de los clientes, es un hombre emprendedor, dedicado a su labor y muy decidido a luchar por sus sueños, esta trabajando muy duro todos los días para no decepcionar a su familia, se siente satisfecho y muy cómodo con su negocio, en las últimas semanas aumento la demanda por el servicio y sus dos molinos ya no le dan abasto por eso le solicita a INTEGRAL un crédito que le permita comprar un molino nuevo de trabajo. This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   

Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
