Ulpiana is a 50-year-old married woman from Corella, Bohol. She has six children. She has been in the sari-sari (variety) store business for twenty years. She sells commodities like canned goods, coffee, sugar, noodles, soft drinks, soap and shampoo. She requested a loan of 21,000 PHP to purchase additional stocks of soft drinks (like Coke and Pepsi), canned goods, sugar, coffee, noodles, soap and shampoo. In the future, Ulpiana would like to expand her business to support her family as well as to have a stable livelihood.
