Luz de 42 años de edad, es una mujer que conforma su familia con su esposo y sus 4 hijos en las edades de 2 a 24 años. Con su esposos se ideó ofrecer el servicio de alquiler de maquinas para lavar ropa, con el fin de genera ingresos suficientes con los cuales sostener su hogar. Su negocio consiste en rentar estas máquinas por horas a toda la comunidad del barrio, que la requiere diariamente de acuerdo a su programación doméstica. El esposo de Luz es quien en una motocicleta, transporta las lavadoras a los domicilios de quienes las alquilan y regresa por ellas de acuerdo a lo convenido. Su clientela está muy acreditada y pertenece a varios sectores circunvecinos; Luz también genera ingresos mediante el oficio de pastelería y patillaje; ella elabora las mas deliciosas tortas, ponqués, pudines y realiza todo tipo de figuras comestibles en azúcar, porque conoce perfectamente la técnica del patillaje y esto hace que todo el año, le soliciten productos de este tipo, para la celebración de fiestas familiares como primeras comuniones, matrimonios, bautizos etc. Luz es una mujer brillante y le gusta perfeccionar su arte, por eso se preocupa por perfeccionar su arte a través de procesos formativos y a través de revistas, con el fin de conocer las últimas técnicas de decoración y pastelería. En la actualidad está preparándose para recibir el fin de año y los pedidos de postres, pudines y ponqués son mayores, por eso ha acudido a un credikiva con el cual comprará insumos como azúcar, harinas, margarinas colorantes etc. y también aplicará otra parte del dinero, en el mantenimiento y la reparación de algunas de sus máquinas, para que continúen funcionando como cuando eran nuevas.
