TITOGBE est un groupe de cinq personnes, dont les membres résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupe, Bernadette (dont la main est levée sur la photo), est âgée de 36 ans et est mariée à un certain Sylvestre. Le couple a trois enfants tous scolarisés et à leur charge. Bernadette vit ensemble avec son mari et ses enfants. Le couple se partage les différentes charges des enfants. Bernadette n’a pas fréquenté l’école. Il y a dix années que Bernadette mène comme activité la vente des légumes de façon ambulante afin de contribuer aux divers besoins du ménage. Bernadette exerce cette activité passionnément, ce qui lui permet de subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de ses enfants. Bernadette s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle, Bernadette sollicite un quatrième crédit avec les autres membres du groupe TITOGBE. Ce crédit leur servira à mieux répondre aux demandes de leur clientèle et à se faire plus de profits. Les crédits précédemment reçus ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.
