Denise is married to a mechanic called Zinsou. The couple have 3 children they are raising and who all go to school. Denise lives together with her children and husband. The couple both take care of the various family expenses. Denise has been selling bananas in a town in Benin for nearly 14 years, so that she is able to contribute to the family's different needs. She gets her supplies in her region.

Denise wishes to obtain a loan, together with the other members of the "Adjomin Alete" group, in order to increase her inventory of products and better respond to her customer demand.
Le groupe ADJOMIN ALETE est formé de quatre personnes qui sont des amies et qui vivent dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupe, nommée Denise est celle dont la main est levée sur la photo. Denise est âgée de 28 ans. C’est la première fois que ce groupe sollicite l’appui financier de ALIDé en vue d’élever le niveau de leur activité. Denise est mariée à un mécanicien du nom de Zinsou. Le couple a trois enfants, tous scolarisés, et tous à leur charge. Denise vit ensemble avec ses enfants et son mari. Le couple assure ensemble les diverses charges familiales. Il y a près de quatorze ans que Denise mène comme activité, la vente de bananes dans une ville du Bénin ; afin de contribuer aux divers besoins de sa famille. Denise s’approvisionne dans sa région. Dans le but d’augmenter le stock de ses produits et de mieux répondre à la demande de sa clientèle, Denise désire obtenir un crédit avec les autres membres du groupe ADJOMIN ALETE.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients. This is a Group Loan
