Monica, 23, is married and from the town of Msambweni. She’s blessed with two children of opposite gender. Monica is very hardworking and has her own retail shop that is well-stocked. Her business started out with a little capital, which added to the good customer service she provides has led to its growth.
She requests a loan to buy supplies for her store at wholesale prices to meet customer demand, increase sales and as a result, increase her income. She wants to buy baked goods, sugar, flour, sodas, etc. She’s grateful for the opportunity she’s getting because it will be of much help for her to continue growing.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
