The members of the communal bank "Virgen de Monserrate" meet every two weeks in the city of Portoviejo, the capital of Manabí, known for many years as the "City of the Royal Tamarind Trees."

Señorita Marlene lives in this place. She is 34 years old. She is single and lives in the house of her parents. She studies preschool education at a university on Saturdays and Sundays.

She is a hard-working woman, since in addition to studying, she works from Monday to Friday in a city nursery school. She makes these products from Fomix foam paper, fabric, sponges, and other materials which give her a nice finished product. For this reason, her work sells very well. She is going to use this loan to buy sponges, paints, glitter, Fomix foam paper, and other materials needed to make her products. She is one of the founders of the communal bank and she likes the bank for the help that they offer through the loans.

Her dream is to obtain her bachelor's degree.

En la ciudad de Portoviejo, capital de Manabí conocida desde hace muchos años como la ciudad de los reales tamarindos, se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Banco Comunal Virgen De Monserrate.

En este lugar vive la señorita Marlene, tiene 34 años de edad, está soltera y vive en la casa de sus padres. Estudia párvulo en una Universidad los días sabados y domingos.

Ella es una mujer muy trabajadora pues además de estudiar trabaja de lunes a viernes en una guardería de la ciudad, también se dedica a elaborar manualidades, adornos y sorpresas en diversos motivos, productos que entrega y elabora a base de pedidos de sus clientes y de una organización del gobierno, estos productos los elabora a base de fomix, telas, esponja y otros materiales con los cueles les da un bonito acabado por lo cual sus obras se venden muy bien, ella lleva más de 6 años realizando esta labor con la cual ayuda a sus padres y a tres hermanos menores en sus estudios.

Este crédito lo va a ocupar para comprar esponjas, pinturas, escarchas, fomix y otros materiales necesarios para elaborar sus productos. Es fundadora del Banco Comunal y le gusta por la ayuda que brindan a través de los créditos.

Su sueño es obtener su titulo de licenciada.
